Your CAW Local 2000 Collective Bargaining Committee will be meeting next week in preparation for our upcoming round of negotiations.  Members of the CAW Local 2000 Collective Bargaining Committee are :

·       Yasmina Saad – Eastern Region VP
·       Luc Delparte – Central Region VP
·       Frank Lachner  - Western Region VP
·       Jacqueline Seguin – Eastern Region
·       Ian Cameron – Central Region
·       Darren Schade - Western Region

Our first round of bargaining will open the week of November 14^th with membership meetings and subsequent rounds of negotiations to be scheduled shortly thereafter.

For your information, here are the details of the tentative agreements reached between the Company and IBEW and CEP:

IBEW
·       Four year agreement.
·       1% increase immediately, retroactive to February 1, 2011.
·       1% increase in 2^nd year.
·       2% increase in 3^rd year.
·       2% increase in 4^th year.
·       All increases are to base salary and are pensionable.
·       Overtime remains at double-time for all hours worked.

CEP
·       Three year agreement.
·       1% increase immediately, retroactive to December 19, 2010.
·       1% increase in 2^nd year.
·       2% increase in 3^rd year.
·       All increases are to base salary and are pensionable.
·       Overtime remains at double-time for all hours worked.

Again, please bear in mind that these agreements have NOT yet been ratified by their respective memberships – both unions are voting to accept or reject these tentative agreements later this month.
